The club operates three Arancia IRBs from the beach at Porthtowan. The IRBs are used to train qualified lifeguards in rescue boat operations.

The club runs IRB crew and driver courses. Participants must have a valid Surf Lifeguard award achieved through Porthtowan SLSC. Priority is given to our junior members.
